Preparations are well underway for the Third Annual Session of the Forty-Third Triennial Synod to be held from 19-21 October 2018 at Memorial Hall, St Peter's College, Hackney.
Synod representatives will begin to receive their summonses from 19 July and those familiar with the process will notice a few tweaks to this years' program.
The Synod Eucharist, traditionally held at St Peter's Cathedral, will this year be hosted by St Augustine of Canterbury, 183 Unley Road, Unley.
Also worth noting is that the President of Synod's address will be delivered on the Saturday at the conclusion of morning prayer. This is a break from the practice that has, in recent years, seen it take place immediately after the Friday night Eucharist.

Following the launch of Vision2022 in May this year, this year's Synod will have a strong focus on flourishing as we seek to support and enable the churches of the Diocese to grow in evangelism, discipleship, service and generosity.
