Learn more about the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide. Founded in 1847, and consisting of over 90 churches across 65 parishes.
Our vision and our yearning is that over the next five years we will be a Diocese of flourishing Anglican communities, united and connected, whose members are confident and competent to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.
In the Ministry Unit Triennium commencing 1 January 2020, the Church in Society Ministry Unit will be re-formed as the Community Engagement Ministry Unit (CEMU) and the new Leadership & Education Ministry Unit and Children and Youth Ministry Unit will be formed.
The Anglican Diocese of Adelaide partners with a variety of organisations across our state and nation to teach, serve, care, empower and reach people with the message of the Gospel, to see lives transformed with love and grace.
New posters & resources for your church ensures everyone knows how our Safe Ministry Program works – what members and visitors should expect from Church Workers, and how to report abuse if it occurs.
You can now obtain Safe Ministry clearance in 4 easy steps. This page will outline the steps, and get you started with Step 1 of the application process.
